Having read nothing from the author previously, I went into this with an open mind. On one hand, I enjoyed the majority of the characters and if there is anything I love more than one romance story, it’s four. That being said, some things just didn’t sit right with me. One gentleman was rather aggressive for a female who wasn’t quite receptive.
Overall, Thorncliff Manor is a delightful historical romance that is easy to read with a simple style. While the romances can be sweet with couples to become invested it, the characters are what really make this story. If you are looking for a rainy (er…snowy) day read this winter, Thorncliff Manor is a delightful way to fill the time.
