Be careful what you wish for.

I received a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review.

What an absolute delight. I rather enjoy historical erotica, especially if it is done well. This novel is a perfect example of such. The erotic scenes were affective yet well written so that they did not cheapen the emotion and chemistry brought on by main couple. I didn’t expect it to be such an emotion read either. The characters were lovable and realistic, and I became invested in their happy endings and watching them grow. Despite their experience and age, they seemed to have a lot of growing to do.

I highly recommend for those looking for an engaging historical romance coupled with erotica scenes and personal growth.
