Book Survey Challenge: Day 12 Longest Book You’ve Read

BookSurvey

This is my challenge for October. Since it is only has 26 days, I chose to start it early. The original survey can be found at The Inky Corner. I modified it to fit my blog better. Feel free to join in!

Day 12 Longest Book You’ve Read

84527Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley. I read it while I was in high school too so I was pretty young. I usually am not into Arthurian novels but this one focuses on Morgaine (Morgan le Faye) who is my favorite. I think the only reason I knew about it is because the movie was on TV once.

On Goodreads, it says the novel is 885 pages long but I swear the version I read was more than 1000. Regardless, it’s still the longest.

    1. I have read it about 3 times and still own it. I watched the movie before the novel and the novel is so much better. Unfortunately if you know the story of King Arthur, you pretty much already know what happens.

      1. Then you may like it. It also depends on which way you lean. I am very much a Morgana fan and loath Guinevere with everything I am.
