When Samantha, a home health nurse, has her first orgasm after waking from an erotic dream about Greg, a scientist and son of her newest patient, she’s both captivated and confused.
Greg’s the opposite of her type, but Samantha feels compelled to get to know the eccentric workaholic, and she soon discovers it’s futile to fight chemistry.
I was provided with a complimentary copy of this book so I could give an honest review.
This book was pure fluff and dirty sex. Sam is a home health nurse who becomes interest in one of her patient’s son, Greg. I felt that the author worked hard to give Greg that “quirky, nerd” disposition, and then shattered it once they started having sex. Then, suddenly he was a sex god. In fact, I think Sam may have called him that. Not to mention, once they start have relations, Greg seems like a different person.
It takes a good amount of time before either of them work up the courage to show interest in each other. However, they have sex on their second date and then state they love each other. That didn’t sit right with me at all. Then they practically become obsessed with each other before tragedy strikes. But of course they end up together.
Overall, I felt the novel was a mediocre. Everything about the novel made me feel that I had read or seen it somewhere else. Sam and Greg aren’t particularly likable or interesting characters. Their relationship honestly made me uncomfortable, and this is coming from someone who reads erotica. On that note, I will say that the erotic scenes were written very well. I almost wish there were more.
