Tagged: The Summer Reading Book Tag
I was tagged by Deanna over at a novel glimpse. I wasn’t expecting it, but I enjoy doing posts likes these.
LEMONADE: Pick a book that started off bitter, but got better.
I am reaching deep into my archives for this one with Blood & Chocolate. I barely made it through the beginning, but the end is one of my favorites of any novel still to this day.
GOLDEN SUN: Pick a book that made you smile beyond compare.
Definitely Warm Bodies. I have seen both the movie and the book, and both made me smile.
TROPICAL FLOWERS: Pick a book set in a foreign country.
The only one I can really think of right now is Spotless. I read a lot of historical romance but I am not going to really count any of those…
TREE SHADE: Pick a book in which a mysterious or shady character was first introduced.
I recently read Ivan, and he was introduced as a shady character.
BEACH SAND: Pick a book that was grainy, and the plot barely developed.
Oh geez, where to begin? I could write you a list, but instead I will just refer you to my Blacklisted Page.
GREEN GRASS: Pick a character(s) that were full of life, making you smile.
Howl’s Moving Castle. Loved every characters, good, evil, or otherwise.
WATERMELON: Pick a book that had some juicy secrets.
I am going with The Ghost of Graylock for this one. I know the reader level is a little beneath me, but these are the type of ghost stories I like.
SUN HAT: Pick a book that had a vast, big universe/setting.
I am not sure if we are allowed to use comics, but I don’t care. I loved the intricate world of Sky Doll.
BBQ: Pick a book in which a character was portrayed as a hunk.
This one is hard because I read a lot of romance and erotica. If you know anything about either, you know that the male is always a “hunk”. I am going say Master of Crows Series though. From the way Draven describes Silhara, I would imagine him to be pretty good looking.
I had fun doing this! Thanks to Deanna for tagging me. I invite anyone who wishes to to also participate.
